[RE-wrenches] PG&E NEM

Don:

I claimed the equipment was the same as in the application. I have
exhorted the client to find and install a Sol-Arc 15 (the equipment applied
for) ASAP. I assume they are still available. I see some for sale on line.

The modules also don’t match but the one we chose are on the approved list
so I see less repercussion on the rare chance we get audited.

Thanks, everyone, You helped me dodge a bullet. If I had switched to the
SB6000 I might have blown the Nem2 option.

There is a certain amount of stress to this business (although you all are
well aware). If you make a mistake you can cost your client and yourself a
lot of money and grief. I’d really hate for anyone to lose the coveted
NEM2. I did and it sucks.

Blake G is correct that PGE now requires grid support inverters.

Their portal drop-down menu of approved inverters no longer includes the
 SB6000US.

They won't let you use what's no longer on their approved list.

You will want to use, or at least claim to use, the SBSE5.8-US-50.

That's what I had to do for the same issue as you.

Or it may be easier to just claim you used the original equipment.
