G'day All,
Came across something I haven't seen in the past and I have over 4 dozen
PAE units out there. It has to do with the Max Run Time setting on the ARTR
or RTR and the Magnum AGS unit. I normally set the Max Run Time (MRT) to 12
hours. It has been my understanding that this MRT value comes into play
when it sees the generator input. Then once the genny runs for say 4-6
hours the AGS then tells the genny to stop. I've been under the
assumption that once the genny stops, the MRT would reset back to zero to
ready itself for the next time the genny runs. What is happening is that
the MRT seems to be accumulating for each genny run and then of course once
it hits the MRT value you get the "Fault Max Rn". I can't find anywhere in
the literature about the MRT value resetting after the genny stops, but I'm
confident that this is the case. Can anyone confirm my thought process on
this one or has anyone seen anything like this before? Heading out tomorrow
with a new ARTR.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Solar Guy,
Christopher-
