[RE-wrenches] Strange Question: 1-Panel System

Glenn:

I asked Enphase if I could run IQ7+ inverters without a gateway and got
conflicting answers. I tried it and the result I got was the inverters
would run briefly without a gateway and then shut down. Apparently we
needed the gateway to load in a grid profile to the inverters.

Once the client bought the gateway and we loaded the profile there was no
reason to remove the gateway. Therefore I don’t know if you need the
gateway to remain in place.

Hope this helps.
