[RE-wrenches] removing old abosolyte cells.

I was out at the job site today with the customer with the old SI 4548.
It’s going away, primarily because she wants a mini split and her inverter is too small at this point.

She has of course a abosolyte battery, 6 cells per stack.
I don’t know if they will slide out or not.

But just thought I’d ask if anyone has any tricks.
Oh and no it’s in a side room, no way to get any heavy equipment in there, and each stack is about 600#

Maybe I could get an engine hoist in there, but outside the door is dirt and gravel and its a long ways to where I can put the trailer.
I am anticipating having to remove the cells to deal with it.
Cutting it apart with a right angle grinder is about the only trick I know. But I’m guessing there are others.

Fortunately I can install the new equipment on the other wall so I don’t need to get the batteries out quickly.

thanks in advance

jay
