Just a quick shout out to Pytes support.

I have a couple of new clients with the E-Box 48100 batteries who have been
having issues.

One has 8 batteries that apparently never talked right because one battery
had a missing "barcode" programmed into it. I discovered this with the
console software, and Pytes helped me get it resolved, which stopped
intermittent alarms and allowed me to close loop it with a new Midnite AIO.
There is still a divergent state of charge issue, which they are looking
into, and I'm confident they will follow through. The tech support rep
spent over an hour with me today providing remote support via screenshare.

The other system was connected incorrectly by the original installer with
20 batteries in a comms loop, 8 being the maximum. They helped me
reconfigure it with 4 masters, each comms bank with 5 total, which allowed
me to update them efficiently. I also learned they have a comms hub that
can help me closed loop this with a future inverter upgrade.

Support has been highly competent and quite available, willing to schedule
support in advance at remote locations.

These experiences have me considering offering their V5 battery (although
I'm focused mostly on sealed batteries for most of my clients due to the
environment).

As far as performance, aside from the divergent SOC issue, these batteries
have met expectations in VERY hard service. Summer is here, and we see wild
swings in charge and discharge during the day with sun, clouds, and extreme
air conditioning use. Overnight they are meeting capacity expectations.

I don't have any paired with Sol-Arks yet, but I understand they have a
good relationship. I'm curious to learn how this pairing works.

Finally, the Solar Assistant info from the Pytes batteries is hugely
beneficial (this is how I discovered the divergent SOC issue). Pytes sends
great info to the SA interface. It's easy to use the Console port on the
Pytes master to communicate with SA simultaneously while using the CAN port
to communicate with the Inverter (Midnite AIO in my case). It all works
seamlessly without splitters or custom cables.

FWIW, hope this helps someone.
