[RE-wrenches] Can All FXR Inverters Sell?

Speculation here:
If the FX > FXR architectures are the same, a FX inverter cannot become a GFX without different circuit boards, but the control board is a relatively easy field swap (FXR to GFXR) .

Maybe check the Mate's advanced programming options to see if the FXR allows the "sell" configuration.

We are working on an existing off grid system that brought in the grid. It has a stacked pair of 3048 FXR inverters. The client is considering getting a net metering contract, but does not want to invest in new equipment.
