Jharen,
Thanks for chiming in, this is some helpful information. Can you please give us any information on when or if these batteries will be "approved"? Have an inverter manufacturer refusing technical support seems like it would only push people away from their product.

The Sol-Ark inverter is battery agnostic, allowing you to use lithium batteries with open loop communication. If you prefer to use a battery with closed loop communication, you can refer to the list below that have a handful of some battery manufacturers we
fully support in closed loop communication. For a full list you can refer to our battery partners page on our https://www.sol-ark.com/solar-installers/battery-partners/ that list batteries we fully support in closed loop communications. These batteries have been tested and approved to ensure compatibility and meet our functionality standards with the Sol-Ark inverter. We continue to work with battery vendors, that
are approved and also not approved.
While use of non-approved batteries may not, by itself, void Sol-Ark’s standard limited warranty, because of significant operational and functional issues that have arisen with non-approved battery vendors, Sol-Ark determined that it does not offer technical
support for non-approved batteries. As a result, Sol-Ark will not provide technical support for non-approved batteries installed or used with Sol-Ark inverters. Sol-Ark will otherwise continue to offer and provide the industry leading technical and customer
support for which it is known. Some of the listed manufacturers offer outdoor rated enclosures to use with their batteries. I recommend reaching out to these manufacturers to see what options may be best for your installation.

Caution: This email is from an external source.
Just installed an AIO/Pflo16. The build quality and attention to detail make Sol-Ark look like what I've always considered them to be, CCC. Had one glitch and Rick and Logan were there for me immediately. There's nothing like talking to an engineer that
designed their gear. We'll be installing a few more of these in GT/BB and OG contexts and one larger three phase BB system in the next month or so. I have a really good feeling about this inverter and battery pairing.

Wonderful to hear Howie. I have high hopes for many projects with Powerflo's. Hard to believe we can finally offer a battery solution with so many positive attributes by a trusted partner like Midnite for just $.25 a watt hour on the retail level.
Discover has been saying it for a bit on some of their marketing materials but I finally now feel that lead is nearly dead for the majority of our installations.

Installed my first production model Midnite AIO with 2 PowerFlo 16 batteries, off grid. Still learning to finess the program structure, but the integration was plug and play and flawless. No internet at site yet and the internet monitoring
app isn't released yet for general use, but the Bluetooth app works well and is fairly clear. The batteries are Pylon compliant and are said to be totally compatible with Sol-Ark, though I haven't tried it yet. 2 more systems going in soon. Howie

Definitely appears that Midnite's new Powerflo batteries would be applicable as well since it supports the Pylon protocol. Appears to be a true game changer but have not received my first shipment yet for a full review.

HI All
Wondering what people are using for lithium battery and sol ark?
And no, LA is not a option for this system.
Outdoor rated would be preferred, heated isn’t needed.
thanks in advance
