[RE-wrenches] Steel pipe purlins

because it is an awning seems like you may be able to disturb the roof
layer above the purlins, even if temporarily?
If so then i think an Iron Ridge top cap could be turned upside down.  you
can fasten the Ubolts around the purlins
maybe overkill   and also maybe hard to waterproof, if waterproof is
something they need
