I don't think it would. It would depend on the size of the pulse. I keep a
spare CSW 4048, a CC, Hammy, and a BMS in a cage.
I do what you wrote for lightning if it is bad enough and I am home. SPD's
and prayer also.. If there is a solar pulse or carrington it would be
pretty bad. Not cheery for a Friday.
