Do you if the wiring from the E panel will reach with the AC conduit box in place on the FX?

MidNite Solar stopped making the skinny OB E-Panels but we still make many models of the wide OB E-Panels.

It still works fine with the OutBack surge arrestor in their AC conduit box.

H Jeremy,

It has been years since I used Outback's Arrestors (I switched to Midnite's so I'm not sure if Outback's design has changed since then), but yes that is how it worked on an E-panel. However, I think Midnite has stopped making the Epanel for the FX (FXR), although maybe you can find one in stock at a supplier. Might be worth a call to Midnite...

Wrenches,
Has anyone installed one of the outback Lightning protection devices designed to fit inside the AC conduit box of an FX inverter, with the FX mounted to an E panel?
Just looking at some pictures it appears that it may work by re locating the flex conduits coming from the E panel, to the sides of the OB ACA vs. where they originally land.
Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated!
