Hello Wrenches,

I was analyzing a string of 8 Trojan L-16 batteries with badly corroded
terminals. The specific gravity read perfect on each battery. Two of the
batteries read low voltage; about 4.2 volts.It seems like one cell's worth
of voltage wasn't showing up on each battery. Has anyone seen this before? 

What would cause this? How can the specific gravity be right?
