Tell your client that the Outback Radian is an "inverter/charger" and the
only things that need to programmed for charging via generator or grid are
bulk, absorb, float and equalize. Nothing needs to be set on automatic.
Adding an external charger would be a waste of money. How about telling
them "Whenever the generator is running, it powers your big load and still
uses all extra energy to charge the battery bank?"
