Morning Wrenches,

We have found that using a RSS that is A/C powered more than likely will interfere with the AFCI function of the inverter.

SMA recommends using a DC powered RSS.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] Rapid shutdown causing AFCI TEST FAILURE

Greetings!
I verified today after replacing an SB6000-12 for a K1 relay open code, that the rapid shutdown circuitry was causing intermittent arc fault test failures. It had done this from day 1 Contact me off list for more information.
