Kirk,

        Staber used to tout the tolerance their machines had to Mod sine inverters and they are made in the US.  I guess you'd have to define "local".  We just replaced our old Staber a year ago, which suffered through our family of 4 for 17 years...and we bought another Staber.

  I have an off-grid customer with a 15 year old Xantrex SW5548 inverter and Staber washer. They need to replace the washer, and want to buy something local. Any name brands you can think of that are compatible with the Xantrex staircased waveform? Thanks.
