Hey Dan,

        Of course we need to discuss the surroundings of any particular roof...valleys, vents, type of top-down clamps, are the PVs at, below or slightly above the ridge of the roof, etc. I assume we're talking about a metal roof?  Some roofs see more warmth than others from the structure to which they are mounted.  If its a comp roof, all bets are off.
