I have a customer with 17kW on 3 Fronius inverters. He connected a cheap 40kW china diesel generator during a week long power outrage. I was amazed when he told me they sync'd up with no problems.

I have had quite a few people lately with Fronius Inverters that would like a backup solution and I'm not comfortable AC coupling these, but could potentially be persuaded.
