[RE-wrenches] Solar Carport on a Parking Ramp

Hi Karl, check with the Contractor that installed the parking structure if thats possible. What you do will be determined by what type of construction was used to build the structure, the carport manufacturer will want input, and they will have engineering staff to advise you, you'll need to know if it is  Post Tension,  Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Concrete or Steel Framed construction.

Any of y’all have any experience with installing a carport atop a parking ramp? Any lessons learned and/or advice you could give? Any recommendations on attachment methods to the pre-stressed concrete?
