[RE-wrenches] SWWP Whisper 200 - Looking for a Short to Ground

Sounds like you have checked everything. How about the wiring coming from the brush holder? Make sure none of them have been chaffed near the pivot.  Of course the brushes might show some arcing too if there is an intermittent short.  If you need an upper casting, complete with stator and armature, contact me off list. Also what is the resistance phase to phase of the armature?
