[RE-wrenches] Booster pump

I would agree with that advice. The typical Taco 009B has enough problems
with low inlet pressure induced cavitation.

Which is why I gave up on using them. That and the power draw.

Hi Nathan,
I am of the opinion that the booster pump should be on the output side
of the main circulator, since when the booster pump is disabled it
will represent a resistance to flow and you want that restriction and
any resulting pressure losses to be on the output side of the main
pump rather than the suction side.
Just my .02.

Thermal wrenches,

When plumbing a booster pump in series for a solar drainback system,
should the booster pump go ahead of or behind the main circulator?

Cheers,
-Nathan
