[RE-wrenches] RFI Interference with Ham radios

We have nowhere close to 500 systems out there, but I was just commenting
to an Enphase rep today about the number of calls for failed units,
particularly older M190's, but recently a few M215s right out of the box.
What's most frustrating is that I have to sit on hold while they diagnose
the issue, and then they inevitably decide it needs to be replaced and need
to waste time going over my shipping, phone, and email details every time,
even though nothing ever changes.

"You just did an RMA for me yesterday... just ship me another new unit...
we all know it's dead and needs replacement... nothing surprising...
happens all the time... no, I haven't moved since yesterday... been in the
same location for 38 years... stop wasting my time..."

That said, I still find their support excellent and think the marketing and
monitoring advantages far outweigh the service burden. The replacement
compensation is adequate for our market, but I can imagine $150 not cutting
it where it's more expensive to operate, like in CA.
