[RE-wrenches] Strong PV Mfgs

Canadian Solar has some kind of insurance policy to cover warranty if they
go out of biz. Not American made, but that answers one question, I suppose.

My attitude about it has been that I wouldn't count on any mfr to support
warranty claims. But who really cares if modules eventually cost less than
the shipping costs back and forth? With the module cost at less than 25% of
the installed cost for most systems today, and labor not being covered for
warranty replacements anyway, what is the module warranty really worth?
