[RE-wrenches] Pole Mount PVC

Drake,

 

This is a very common way to install this conduit, so I  really would like
to know how this inspector would route wire from the top of a pole down into
a trench while passing through a concrete footer. 

 

We have inserted a one-size larger conduit elbow when we pour the concrete
which sticks up above the top of the concrete and out the side wall of the
dug hole for the concrete pour.  Then after the concrete has set, we route
the conduit from the solar module junction box down the pole and through the
elbow.  This provides a larger and more rugged conduit that is slightly
larger than the conduit carrying the wiring which protects from trimmers and
mowers.
