[RE-wrenches] Lithium Ion Phosphate for grid back up

I've been following the Li+ for a while, and the word is that the
Chinese made Li+ reliability is not quite there yet. About half of your
EV parts distributors carry them and half don't.
I'm close to trying them on my next EV project, but I can't imagine why
you would try them on a project that weight isn't an issue (and the
possible charging head aches)
HUP lead acid batteries have 2100 cycles to 80% DOD, and we know that's
a real number.
I'd give it another 5 years for the prices to fall more, and the
reliability to improve. There are American made Li+ that are very good,
but also very expensive, and the military gets first dibs on most of those.
