David,
Do you have a diode in series to prevent nighttime discharge of the battery thru the module? I have done this for a 100A/H battery with a 16W thinfilm module. I used a series diode, but maybe this is not necessary?
See ya!

I have been using a 10 watt module without a charge control to charge my generator cranking battery for more than 5 years and i have never had to add water.

Friends:
Ii it possible, with the correct module, to trickle charge a generator cranking battery without the use of a charge controller? What modules fit this criteria?
Thanks in advance.
