Yes when the battery is colder you adjust the readings lower, My old fashoned
hydrometer shows state of charge for different SpGr for example at 20 below
the 50% state of charge would be reduced to perhaps 35% SOC

Per the HUP Solar One owners battery manual:
“The normal operation temp is 77-80°F. Lower than normal temps. will reduce
capacity, slightly extend life, require a higher recharge voltage, & cause SG
readings to be adjusted down. HIGHER TEMPS HAVE THE OPPOSITE EFFECT”.
