Also note that for series strings, to bring up all batteries in the string to the same state of charge, some equalization is recommended from time to time - but not the same heavy current that you would use with flooded, where the main idea is to stir up the liquid.

  To date, I have not heard of even one battery manufacturer that advocates EQ for sealed batteries. Though I do stand to be corrected if there is a manufacturer that does think this wise.
