[RE-wrenches] Wind Loads by state

We have been using solar and wind data from NASA. They have a quick and
easy website that is free. You can get data from any location in the world
(modeled and not site tested of course) including wind speeds at various
heights and terrains. I've found it really helpful for getting solar data
in other parts of the world too.

Retscreen has some wind data, and a wind calculator, however it has the same
problem as it has with solar, in that it is difficult to modeling using
there code and you are very limited in applications.
What I would like to see would be a CFD derived emperical model of micro
siting. mode
