Leaking L-feet and what kind of caulk [RE-wrenches]

We recently contacted the manufacturer of Sikaflex & were told that it 
is NOT recommended for use with comp shingles, contrary to popular 
belief.... Beware!

We have moved to Henry roofing sealant as well for a replacement. Also, 
we always custom flash each foot we place for extra insurance.
