Check out www.tranzsporter.com. I have one of these, similar to Ladder
Vader. I've used it about a year now for both thermal collectors and pv
panels. The model I bought cost about $1400 from www.blackbearladder.com and
is rated at 200 lbs. of load. Mine is 28 ft. tall, but extensions can be
added to the ladder extend to 44 ft. as I recall. One can easily build a
cradle to lift multiple PV panels with it. And I don't think they are all
that jerky. Anything strapped well won't go anywhere.

Subject: Ladder Vader [RE-wrenches]
We are looking for a safe, efficient way to get modules on to 2 and 3
story roofs. We've built a electric hoist but it takes a while to set
up as is rather slow, especially with 2 modules on it. I've seen
"Ladder Vaders" like this one:

but I've heard they can be a little hurky-jerky. Does anyone have
experience with ladder vaders or any other ultra-portable lift that
they've had success with?

more than we could ever use in just about 8 minutes. And it's
wireless!"
