Batteryless inverter recommendation [RE-wrenches]

Outdoor enclosures in Germany tend to be made from stainless steel.  

Even though an enclosure may have rust on it,  it can be still safe and usable.  

I understand the comparison of a solar electric system to a new car - but look at what a typical 10 year car looks like - should we expect more from a PV system?  Very few inverter warranties cover cosmetic issues I believe...
