Solar Carports [RE-wrenches]

I'll second T.Lane's recommendation.  Baja helped us compete on solar
carport job for U NV Coop Ext - Las Vegas parking lot.  Unfortunately, they
also helped another Nevada contractor.  

I mentioned to Peter P. the envision lifeportsolar.com stuff, having some
familiarity with Bob Noble's designs/vision for solar industry.  Saw the
real thing at SD Auto Show recently.  My opinion is the "product" has
limited application.  Did not like the 4-post columnar supports or the
erector set construction style, which to me, was over-wrought and not
appealing.  Although with palletized delivery, and perhaps easy to construct
(if not time-consuming), the steel-stud structure appears wing-like, almost
begging to be lifted, or to lean.   With $20,000 or so of PV on top of it.
