We have done a couple of these.
The installers of the roof used special screws that penetrated through
the full SIP and into the underlying exposed timber framing. We were
able to use screws from the same source to anchor our L feet for the
racking.
You do need to be careful to stop driving the screws when they meet the
foot, as you can dimple the roofing, potentially causing a puddle in wet
weather.
However I think they were a couple of the strongest installs I've worked
on. We used 2 screws (about 12" in length) per L foot. they were a Torx
type head & we had to use an AC drill/driver to place them.
