battery-less VAWT -Pacwind[RE-wrenches]

There is a PacWind prominently spinning away here in Arcata, CA. But it has no generator, which got returned to the manufacturer.

It is a really cute barn-top spinnie-toy.

Till then I thought the only one that was in use was Jay Leno's. Maybe it's part of their R&D and was given to the station because of it's high profile?
