metering 1-phase inverter in 3-phase service? [RE-wrenches]

I believe a 240v meter will work, as the meter
measures the voltage and the current and does the
multiplication.  My experiance with a 4 jaw meter in
the past worked just fine.  If you have a Neutral
current, which you should not have, (you should not
even have a neutral connection) it might put the
reading off.  But you should not have a neutral
connection. If you have a neutral connection, then you
need a 5 jaw meter, (this is the type we use in
appartment buildings where we have 120/208 3 phase and
deliver to each unit 120/208 uning only 2 legs of the
3-phase.
