Getting out of the Installation Business [RE-wrenches]

What you say about increased wiring expenses is only a part of the problem.
So much so that we are seriously looking at getting out of the installation
business completely.
The recent code changes, local/state regulations proliferating (often for no
good reason), a huge increase in the amount of paperwork, permits, multiple
CAD drawings, Site maps, etc etc have added so much in extra costs that
"peripheral" expenses are getting to be a major part of the cost of
installation.
The "new improved" latching cables just by themselves have added from $30 to
$75 cost per panel. What good is a small per watt price decrease on a 200
watt panel when it now takes an extra $60 in expensive cables and tools to
hook that panel up.
