With all due respect, you are misinformed about the hazards of 
electricity.  A very quick web search confirms this from multiple sources:

Electrocution occurs when a small, specific amount of electrical current 
flows through the heart for 1 to 3 seconds. 0.006-0.2 Amps (that's 6-200mA 
milliamps) of current flowing through the heart disrupts the normal 
coordination of heart muscles. These muscles loose their vital rhythm and 
begin to fibrilate. Death soon follows.

My personal experience is that the DC was very difficult to let go of, 
whereas the AC shocks I have received create a natural tendency to pull 
away.  I consider DC more deadly than AC because of this.

Anyway, we will have to agree to disagree.  I know pollution kills, but I'm 
not willing to ignore what I know are safe practices just because there are 
other causes of death in this world.
