XW6048 running a 1HP pump? [RE-wrenches]

Hi Chris
Is this a submersible or surface pump? 
I have started and run a 1 hp blower on an XW6048, but this is not a pump, which I believe can have a much larger starting surge.  I have also run a speed drive and larger motor, again not the same.  If I get a chance I will start a pump, but I do not know what the HP is.  Wish I could help, 

BTW where can person get 24 v cfls
