XW generator start question [RE-wrenches]

Hi Dan,

So they designed the GSM to use the 12v generator as the start signal  
and not the AC?
What were they thinking?

Thanks for the info on how to get around it.

I've got a upgrade to get rid of some old SW's and thought it time to  
try an XW.
