Friends:

I have a pair of SW4048 inverters configured for and including two GTI
adapters that were a trade in. I was never really comfortable with what
the GTI units were or the function they performed. Are these units
suitable for an off-grid installation?

Assuming one never has grid power connected, the GTI units will be
dormant. Do they even need to be installed? Do the inverters need to
communicate with them?

Thanks,

William Miller
