Panels Warranted for Marine Use? [RE-wrenches]

I heard good things about the Solara M series. They have a teflon layer
to protect the module from salt water. They go only up to 68W, but that
should not be a bummer.

There are modules that are manufactured in Germany that are flexible in
that wattage range. They are pretty tough, the company that I work w/
Lyman Morse yachts has installed them. If you are not able to get any
info let me know off list, they are closed Fridays so it will be next
week.

Does anyone know which, if any, panels in the 75 to 140 watt range that
have a warranty that covers use on marine installations, such as
sailboats?

It appears - even though some manufacturers even show pictures of their
panels mounted on sailboats - that some have (sometime quietly with no
announcement) dropped their warranty when used on boats and quite often
also on RV's.

Sharp and Mitsubishi are specific examples, even though Mitsubishi does
not mention that fact in either their warranty or on their specification
sheets, only in the installation instructions.
