Hi Todd,
I know from previous posts that Tom hates them, but then he lives in
Florida.
The snow issue is really interesting. Since they are evacuated,
there is no heat from the collector to melt the snow on top.
From what I understand:
PRO:
hi tech
will get very hot ( if you need it )
modular
easily replaced
light weight ( easy to install with 1 person)
look cool
CON:
Hi tech
will get too hot
expensive
cannot stagnate without possible damage
output is same or less for most places
snow won't melt off
