Three phase inverter to single phase service [RE-wrenches]

I don't know either, but I had a similar conversation with someone in
Central America about a week ago. The guy seemed convinced that it
"should" work, but I have no idea what happened with his attempt. Have
you checked with any of the companies that produce these things?
