greentag meters on a XW 240 output grid tie [RE-wrenches]

I think your assessment is correct. After doing this on my home system 
this summer, I learned way more about form 12s meters than I ever wanted 
to. It is not very "elegant" but you will need separate meters on each 
120 volt leg just like on the outback.
