Hi Jeff,
We've used a considerable amount of SunTech modules
and so far the quality seems to be just fine.
As for warranty and time zone issues, Chinese
companies will have to do as their counterparts from
other countries like Germany and Japan have done; open
up a US office to handle the US market's needs.
If a company isn't well established enough to have an
office in market territories they're dealing in, that
would be an issue to consider. The only good reason I
can think of importing products from a manufacturer
with no US office would be if it were somehow unique,
like BIPV products etc. If their price is just lower
then it could be risky business.
Cheers,
Jerry Caldwell
