CFL follow-up [RE-wrenches]

Here is a little LED update from Jeff Oldham:

LED's are rapidly approaching us as the lighting source of the near future.
Currently they are in the 30-40 lumens per watt (lpw) stage with a potential
of 160 lpw. CFL's are 35-60 lpw so LED's are already nearly as efficient as
CFL's, they will surpass CLF's within a year and we get away from mercury
and early burn-outs. Color rendition is also evolving to where you can have
any color temp you want now including "dial-a-color" options. I've seen
amazing LED ceiling panels that drop right into a 2'x2' T-Grid drop ceiling
system - super cool and great color!
