CFL follow-up [RE-wrenches]

Well, I for one, do not consider LED lighting to be a "better mousetrap".

The color rendition for most is atrocious, they are mainly too focused a 
beam for good light coverage for general lighting, and they are still pretty 
expensive for all but the smallest.

They are good for something like an outdoor focused flood where you don't 
need more than a 40 degree beam spread or so, but for general household 
lighting they just don't cut it.
