Doesn't sound like the batteries will do very well as it will be hard
to get them charged at such a low voltage, thats even lower than float
for most gel cells.
How about a disconnect for high voltage in the line to the lights?
That way the batteries can be charged correctly and the lights can
survive the charging voltages.
I expect the lights would not be on during the peak charging hours but
I could be wrong (and probably am). If there is a light that is needed
more often or earlier they might need to use a cf there.
