Irreversible Splice? [RE-wrenches]

We use butt splices from either Del City or Summit. We have a couple  
of crimpers; you have to be sure and use the right crimper for the  
crimp. One crimper does the color coded heavy wall and cast crimps  
(Burndy) , the other is for the thinner wall crimps we use for  
inverter and battery cables. The thinner ones from Del City are  
cheaper and are UL stamped. I don't have details on the exact listing.
