Hello Wrenches,

It would be good to remember that there are a few other domestic
manufacturers making battery based with grid tie inverters. In recent
years I've worked for both Beacon and now Alpha and they both offer
system solution products which address most of the concerns expressed
on this forum.

From my recent experience working with Alpha I'm mostly amazed that
so many Wrenches don't know about their Solaris XP product. Its
continuous power ratings are taken at 50C and they support external
AC and DC generators, offer optional string balancing technology (The
telecom world has had stand-by batteries to maintain and monitor) for
a very long time. I didn't even know that AC ripple onto batteries
was an issue that inverter/charger manufacturers addressed until I
started working with these folks.)

So have a look outside of the usual boxes and you might be pleasantly
surprised at what's available.

Cheers,

Ezra
