Hi Jeff and List
I sent a response this morning I think, It has not
shown up yet. But I have a similar opportunity for an
installation that i am in negotiation on. I am
planning to use the "DT-Kluge" where I use the
auto-transformer to step down the generator rectifier
and charge controller. I have a few twists I am going
to try on this one.

I will inform you as to how it turns out, but the
questions are
1) are you 48 volt?
2) is it necessary to auto start the generator?
3) is it necessary to generator cycle, IE generator
supplying load then back to battery and inverter then
back to generator again OR once the generator starts
to let it run until grid returns?
4) is it OK to have the generator pick up just the
critical circuits panel OR do you want to pick up the
entire main load panel? OR do you want the generator
to pick up the critical load and generator panel?
